Game Recap

The Saint Joseph Academy softball team traveled to Akron on Monday evening to take on rival Magnificat in the Rivalry Series at Firestone Stadium, presented by the Akron Racers.

Ronain Heath doubled to start to the game and Maddie Kimble put the Jaguars on the board with a two-run homer to left-center in the next at-bat. The bats for SJA did not cool down all night and the Jaguars cruised to a 19-0 win.

Mallory Ambrosio pitched four outstanding innings for SJA, only allowing three hits. Erin LaBoe finished the game with a scoreless fifth inning.
