Saint Joseph Academy is excited to announce that Bowling will be a varsity sport beginning with the 2017-18 school year.  Bowling is an Ohio High School Athletic Association sanctioned sport.

“The addition of bowling to our athletic offerings is a great way for us to provide our student-athletes with another opportunity to take part in athletics and represent Saint Joseph Academy,” said Athletic Director John Manuszak.

Saint Joseph Academy will be a member of the Greater Cleveland Interscholastic Bowling League (GCIBL) and will compete against schools throughout northeast Ohio.  The school sponsored bowling as a club sport this year and it had great participation and success.

The official start to the 2017-18 bowling season is November 3.  There will be an informational meeting and more details to follow when a head coach is named.

During the 2017-18 school year, Saint Joseph Academy will have 14 varsity sport offerings.
