Meet Recap

The Saint Joseph Academy cross country team is headed back to the state meet.

On Saturday afternoon at Boardman High School, the Jaguars finished in 6th place overall (212) which advances them to Saturday’s OHSAA state meet in Hebron, OH. It will mark the Jaguars second-straight trip as a team to the state meet.

The Jaguars were led by sophomore Annie Allen who finished in 4th place (18:25.11) and senior Sydney Seymour who finished sixth overall (18:27.98). Sophomore Amanda Keim finished 49th (20:08.24), senior Caitlyn Walsh was 75th (20:31.94) and freshman Mackenzy Burns was 80th (20:33.62) to round out the top five for SJA. Freshman Danica Hruby (83rd) and freshman Bridget Chambers (114th) also raced at regionals for the Jaguars.
