Saint Joseph Academy took home the title at the Walsh Jesuit Holiday Tournament with a one-point win, 42-41, over the host Warriors in the championship game.
Molly Dever was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player for her play in the two games. She scored 19 points in the semifinal win over Revere and added 12 in the championship game. In the win over Walsh Jesuit, junior Molly Neitzel led the team with 14 points. Molly Neitzel was named to the all-tournament team as well.
The win, SJA’s fourth in a row, moves the team to 7-3 on the season.
