Sophomore Annie Allen led the way for Saint Joseph Academy on Saturday at the OATCCC indoor state championship meet.
The sophomore earned All-Ohio honors and set a new school record as she finished in 6th place in the 1600-meter run in a time of 5:05.99.
The Jaguars also had strong showings in the three relays they competed in:
The 4×400 relay team of Faith Maruna, Haley Morgan, Timmia Crayton-Prioleau and Maggie Wagner just missed the school record in a time of 4:09.13 to finish 14th overall.
The 4×200 relay team of Haley Morgan, Timmia Crayton-Prioleau, Faith Maruna and Maura Jordan finished 16th overall in 1:48.11.
The 4×800 team of Maggie Wagner, Olivia Fallon, Amanda Keim and Grace Kelley ran their best race of the season to finish in a time of 10:02.69.
The Jaguars had two entries in the shot put. Junior Emma Pesicka finished 11th with a throw of 32-02.50 while fellow junior Madison Wilson was 18th with a throw of 33-08.75.
