Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse, Girls Varsity Lacrosse · Lacrosse Posts Big Win at St. Ursula

The Saint Joseph Academy lacrosse team moved to 2-1 on the season with a big road win at Toledo St. Ursula on Saturday.  The Jaguars posted a 10-6 win over the Arrows who entered the game at 3-0 and highly ranked in the state.  Leading the way for the Jaguars was junior Ella Calleri who had three goals on the day.  In her previous game at Mentor, Calleri went over 100 goals in her high school career.  In the Jaguars’ last two games, Calleri has scored eight goals.  Sophomore Emily Langel was outstanding with four goals while seniors Lucy Casper and Lauren Koch along with freshman Faith Maruna each scored for SJA.  Senior goalie Danielle Smith had five saves of the 11 shots on goal.

The JV Jaguars posted a 15-3 win over St. Ursula.
