Jaguars News · Rugby Competes For 8th State Title


The Saint Joseph Academy Rugby team will be playing for its eighth state title this Saturday, June 1st. The number one seeded Jaguars defeated the defending state champions, Hudson, in the state semifinal game last Saturday with a final score of 43-19.

The Jaguars will be taking on Cincinnati Walnut Hills in the State Championship game at Fortress Obetz this Saturday with a kickoff time of 1:00 p.m. The JV Jaguars will also be playing for a state championship before varsity with a start time of 11:30 a.m.

Saint Joseph Academy has won state titles in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Tickets for the game are $15 and can be purchased HERE or at the gate on Saturday.
