Morgan Named North Coast League MVP; Magill Named Coach of the Year

Saint Joseph Academy sprinter Haley Morgan has been selected as the North Coast League’s Track & Field Most Valuable Athlete for 2018.  The junior was selected at the NCL Track & Field coaches meeting on Sunday morning.  In addition, SJA first-year head coach Joe Magill was selected as the Coach of the Year by his fellow coaches.

Track & Field With Strong Start at Districts

The Saint Joseph Academy track & field team got off to a fast start on day one of the 2018 District meet at Mayfield HS.  After the first day of the meet, the Jaguars are in first in the women’s division with 24 points. Big points in the meet came from junior thrower Emma Pesicka

Rugby Set To Compete at Nationals

Saint Joseph Academy rugby, the 2016 National Champions, will head to Murfreesboro, TN this weekend to compete in the 2018 Girls High School National Invitational Rugby Championships.  The tournament will be played at Middle Tennessee State University. The Jaguars are the #5 seed in the eight-team tournament and begin play on Saturday against Kahuku High School

Jaguars Tune-Up For Districts at All-Catholic Meet

The Saint Joseph Academy track & field team had its final tuneup for the postseason as the Jaguars competed in the All-Catholic meet held at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School. Highlights for the Jaguars included: Emma Pescicka (38’5.5″) won the shot put while Madison Wilson finished second (35’5.5″).  Pescika also finished second in the discus

Crew Set To Compete at Midwest Championships

The Saint Joseph Academy crew team, coming off a first-place showing at the Laddie Cup in Orchard Park, MI, will compete this weekend at the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championships in Nashport, OH. Last weekend, the Jaguars competed for the first time this season and finished with 216 points to win the women’s division.  Every member

Seven Student-Athletes Make College Commitments
