The SJA gymnastics team competed in the OHSAA sectional tournament on Sunday morning at the Summit County Fairgrounds. This was an extremely difficult field with the team placing 6th overall out of 16 full teams and 24 schools represented. Sophomore, Allison Petrasek was the lone district individual qualifier taking the 12th and final spot on bars. The team came together for one of their best performances of the year significantly improving the team beam score and was the 4th best team of the day on bars. This young team made great strides this year and looks to add talent and depth for next season as there will be no graduating seniors. We are proud of the accomplishments and growth of these girls. Best of luck to Allison at the district meet hosted at Mentor High School on February 27th! Go Jaguars!
