The Saint Joseph Academy track and field team traveled to Wheeling, WV on Saturday to compete in the 42nd annual Dick Dei Classic. The meet was held at Wheeling Park High School, a beautiful setting for the Jaguars to compete against some strong competition from Ohio and West Virginia.
The Jaguars had an outstanding showing and despite only competing in 10 events, they finished second overall with 66 points, just four points shy of first place Indian Hill HS.
Junior Annie Allen won the 3200 meter run while her teammate Marie Musser came in 3rd for the Jaguars. Emma Pesicka had a great showing as she won the shot put and finished third in the discus. Fellow senior Madison Wilson was 4th in the shot put and 5th in the discus. The 4×800 relay team of Colette Conway, Emma Hvizdos, Carlee Blankenship and Grace Kelley won their event. Haley Morgan finished 2nd in the 400 meter run and 5th in the 200 meter dash.

Anna Duesenberg – 7th in the 800 meter run
Annie Allen – 3rd in the 1600 meter run
Timmia Crayton-Prioleau – 8th in the 300 meter hurdles
4×400 Relay team of Timmia Crayton Prioleau, Maura Jordan, Amanda Keim and Haley Morgan – 7th place
