The Saint Joseph Academy varsity cross country team headed up north to Michigan on Saturday and took part in the 21st annual Portage Invitational, which is one of the largest meets in the state.
The Jaguars finished 11th overall in the Division 1 race out of 30 teams. Junior Annie Allen led SJA with a 15th place finish in a time of 19:10. Amanda Keim, Danica Hruby, Anna Duesenberg and Marie Musser completed the top five for the Jaguars. Elizabeth Starck and Carlee Blankenship also had strong races for the team.
Due to the nature of the registration process for the Portage Invitational, the entered SJA names do not match the results posted.
