Saint Joseph Academy competed well against Magnificat in a dual meet on Friday night at the Busbey Natatorium at Cleveland State University. Junior Maddy Kelly set another school record with her performance in the 200 individual medley. Her time of 2:15.38 broke the previous school record which was set in 2012.

Other highlights for the Jaguars included:

Katie Tomko had a personal best in both 100 free and 100 back
Lexi Smith had a personal best in the 200 IM, placing 5th overall in 100 free and 100 breast
Lucy Polkinghorn had a personal best in 200 free
Sophia Dixon had a personal best in 50 free and in her first attempt at the 500 free, she placed 4th scoring two pts for the team
Gwen Pierce had a personal best in 100 fly taking 3rd overall and took 4th in 50 free
Maddy Kelly placed 1st in 100 fly in addition to her school record and win in the 200 IM
Maddie Jarosz had a personal best in 100 free with a 2nd place finish and took 3rd in 200 free
Abby Fleming took 3rd in 100 back
Paola Colon took 2nd in 100 breast and 4th in 200 IM
Kassidy Gartin took 5th in both 50 free and 100 back
Julia Patterson took 4th in 200 free and 5th in 100 free
Lyanna Tran had a personal best in 100 free and 50 free
Sarah Kelley placed 5th in her first attempt at the 500 free and scored 1 point for the team
Jillian Wilde placed 6th in her first attempt at 100 fly
Emma Claire Lambert-Shemo placed 2nd in 50 free
Jenna Wasilko placed 2nd in diving and led off the 200 free relay for the first time
