The Saint Joseph Academy swimming and diving performed well on Saturday but dropped a meet to the undefeated Rocky River Pirates 123-51.
The Jaguars had five second-place finishes:
200 yd medley – Fernandez, Lambert-Shemo, Doverspike and Jarosz
200 yd freestyle – Maddie Jarosz
200 yd IM – Emma Claire Lambert-Shemo
500 yd freestyle – Suzanna Fernandez
400 yd freestyle relay – Lambert-Shemo, Fernandez, Jarosz, Wilde
Other highlights included lifetime bests from Emma Claire Lambert-Shemo, Maddie Jarosz and Suzanna Fernandez in the 500 freestyle. Jarosz also set a personal best in the 400 FRR in 59.4. Vivian Ahern was the top SJA diver, coming in third.
