Jaguars Finish 3rd at NCL Bowling; Kovacic Earns First-Team All-Conference Honors

The Saint Joseph Academy bowling team had a great showing in their first-ever North Coast League tournament as the Jaguars came away with a third-place finish.  Leading the way for the Jaguars was Emily Kovacic who had the second-highest pin total of any bowler.  For her efforts, Kovacic earned First-Team All-Conference honors. SJA Bowling Tops Olmsted Falls

The Saint Joseph Academy bowling team defeated Olmsted Falls in a close match on Saturday by a score of 1951-1920. The Jaguars were led by senior Angela Weiland who rolled games of 155, 214 and 142 in the win. Kathryn Rajnicek also rolled a 155 in her second game to help the Jaguars to victory.

Bowling Tryout Information

The Saint Joseph Academy bowling team will begin its first season with tryouts beginning on Monday and Tuesday.  The program will hold two days of tryouts on Monday, November 6 and Tuesday, November 7.  The tryouts will be held at Fairview Lanes from 4:00-6:00 p.m. each day.
