Big Weekend for Bowling

Saint Joseph Academy bowling capped off a huge weekend with a thrilling win over Padua on Saturday and a Bruin Classic championship on Sunday.

Despite being shorthanded, the Jaguars edged a strong Padua team 2105–2099 on Saturday, led by Maddie Sparrow’s high game of 201 and high series of 465. On Sunday, SJA advanced to bracket play in fourth place and surged through baker play, defeating Vermilion, Solon, and Berea Midpark in best-of-three matchups to claim the tournament title, with Jaime Stutzman leading the team with a 498 series.
