Jaguar Runners Shine at OHSAA State Meet

Six members of our Jaguar Track and Field team competed at the 2026 OHSAA State Track and Field Championships on June 6th and 7th at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Ava Reed '26 competed in both the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles. She podiumed in both events, earning 7th and 8th place respectively. Ava also broke the school record yet again in the 100m hurdles! Joelle Puni '27 competed in the 100m dash and the 200m dash, earning 4th place and 5th place respectively. Joelle also broke school records in both events! The 4x200m relay team also competed on Saturday, earning 15th place in the state. The team of Leah Corrigan '28, Bridie Hyland '26, Nia French '27, and Sylvia Mittendorf '27 ran a season best time of 1:44.54. Way to go, Jaguars!
