Gymnastics Competes at OHSAA District Meet, Gus Advances to States

The Gym Jags competed in the OHSAA District Meet on Sunday at Hudson High School. Ella Gus '28 is the 2nd Gymnastics State Qualifier in SJA History! She placed 5th on Vault and 6th on Beam to punch her ticket to Columbus this weekend! She also earned All-District honors.
Catherine Yang '28 earned the Coaches Association Sportsmanship Award.
Top 20 finishes, out of over 100 individual competitors, were also earned by Marina Stolarek-Houston '28 on Bars (15th place) and Beam (17th Place), and Catherine Yang '28 on Beam (20th Place).
Sammy Zarlino '28, Marina, and Catherine finished up their season, with each of them contributing four scores to our highest team score of the season, finishing 5th place as a team in one of the toughest districts in the state!
