Jaguars Battle in Home Rivalry

Saint Joseph Academy Basketball put together a determined, competitive effort in last night’s home rivalry matchup against the Magnificat Blue Streaks but fell 45-28.

The Jaguars moved the ball well offensively, generated quality looks, and played physical throughout the night. The game stayed tight early, with SJA trailing by just two after the first quarter and five at halftime.

After struggling to find an offensive rhythm in the third quarter, the team continued to battle, scoring double digits in the fourth while trying to close the gap against a strong Magnificat squad. Despite the push, the comeback fell short. Senior Brooke Haddad led SJA in scoring with 10 points.
