Jaguars Fight to the Finish in Tight Contest

Saint Joseph Academy battled until the final buzzer but came up just short in a 61–59 loss to Lutheran East.
The Jaguars faced an early challenge, trailing by 13 at halftime after the Falcons controlled much of the first half. But SJA came out of the break with tremendous energy and determination, delivering a dominant third quarter. The Jaguars outscored Lutheran East by 14 points in the period, erasing the deficit and shifting the momentum in their favor.
The fourth quarter turned into a tense, back-and-forth battle, with both teams fighting to secure the win. SJA stayed within striking distance throughout the closing minutes, but the Falcons were able to hold on in a tight finish.
Three Jaguars finished in double figures, led by Brooke Haddad with 17 points.
