Swim Team Opens 25-26 Season at the Ned Reeb Invitational

The Saint Joseph Academy Swim team opened their season at Ohio State University competing
in the Ned Reeb Invitational. The Jaguars placed 15th as a team out of over 50 of the top programs in Ohio. Leading the Jaguars were Katie Goodman '26, Kaila Reynolds '28, and
Brynne Stewart '29.

Goodman, a Xavier University commit, placed 9th in the 100 Backstroke and 12th in the 100
Freestyle. Goodman’s time of 54.16 in the Final was a new school record, eclipsing the mark set in 2017 by Maddy Kelly.

Reynolds, who led the team by scoring 27 points, placed 5th overall in the 50
Breaststroke and 12th overall in the 100 Breaststroke.

Stewart, competing in her first meet as a Jaguar, qualified for the Finals in the 50
Breaststroke and placed 6th overall.

The trio of Goodman, Reynolds, and Stewart joined with Madallyn Dorries '26, to compete
in the 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle relays. Both relays qualified for Finals with the Medley placing 18th and the Freestyle placing 16th.

The Jaguars return to the pool this week to compete against Division II State Champion
