Varsity Golf Places 2nd at Sectionals

The Varsity Jaguar golf team earned a solid second place at sectionals Monday at Big Met. Leading the charge was senior Emerson Glending shooting a 77. The other 4 golfers sealed the strong finish all shooting in the 80s. Tess Gibel '26 (82) had 3 birdies on the back 9 holes. Ellen Mingus '26 shot an impressive 84. Willa Streeter '27 (88) and Vera Swartz '27 (89) helped pave the way to Districts with one birdie each and rounds in the 80s. The Jaguars will play in Districts next week at Tanglewood.
