Varsity Golf Places 7th at Districts, Glending Advances to States

Saint Joseph Academy Varsity Golf placed 7th at the OHSAA D1 Northeast District Round held Thursday, October 9th at Tanglewood Golf Club.

Tess Gibel '26 shot an 83, Vera Swartz '27 shot an 88, and Ellen Mingus '26 and Willa Streeter '27 both carded 89s for the round. Senior Emerson Glending shot a 75, earning her 7th place in the District and qualifying her for the OHSAA DI State Tournament as an individual. Emerson will compete this Sunday, October 12th and Monday, October 13th at Firestone Country Club in Akron. Best of luck to Emerson and congratulations on an amazing season, SJA Golf!
